CLIMATE IS A GLOBAL ISSUE REQUIRING A GLOBAL RESPONSE.
Defending strictly national interests, the rulers of nations are not ready to establish common rules making it possible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the level required by the IPCC. Whatever our nationality or our beliefs, we are embarked on the same boat and must make common cause instead of engaging in trade or military wars. These rearguard battles no longer need to be. On the contrary, the future of humanity requires close international cooperation for the rescue of our terrestrial habitat. Eager not to remain passive while waiting for the end of the world, various pro-climate actors are initiating a dynamic of convergence around a rescue plan of global scope. Called the Global Climate Pact (PCM), this outline of a common program initiated within civil society in relay with students and high school students Fridays for Future will help in the governance of global issues of common interest, foremost among which is the weather. An essential commitment to help regenerate the planet and continue the human adventure with dignity.

Subject to corporate dominance and to pressure of powerfull lobbies in every field of activity, the G20 governments boost unequal and unsustainable growth requiring at least three planets.
The forces of civil society are organizing into a electoral majority in each country around ecological and progressive solutions from the local to the global level.

1939-1945   Fascisms have been defeated by the allied forces.
1989-1991  Communists regimes have collapse under an irrepressible desire of freedom.
By 2020-2025   New economic programs based on humanistic, ecological and progressive criteria will federate a majority of all nationalities and beliefs. This transnational coalition of common sense and goodwill will bring to power in each country a new generation of politicians implementing equitable and sustainable solutions from the local to the global level.

 

CIVIL SOCIETY JOINS INTO A MAJORITY REFORMIST FORCE AROUND ECOLOGIST AND PROGRESSIVE OPTIONS.

A multidisciplinary college from civil society is developing a progressive ecological program federating people regardless of their nationality, culture or beliefs.
A shared goal : ensuring a future for humanity on a peaceful, socially equitable and ecologically preserved planet.

Modeling a fair and sustainable future, developing international legislation to regulate globalization in strict respect for people and the environment, proposing socio-economic strategies that prioritize the quality of life and social well-being, propose the reorganization of the world institutions – WTO, IMF, World Bank, UN – which are no longer adapted to the stakes of the 21st century, all this prepares minds for realistic and achievable alternatives and accelerate the change of  course that everyone hopes and expects.
We outline above the principles and orientations of a reformist program called NEWDEAL21 in reference to the program of President Roosevelt that allowed America to get out of the Great Depression of the 1930s. This program will be developed within Civil Society’ International Council by a hundred experts from different disciplines independent of states and big companies.

The more signatures collected all over the world, the sooner the council of experts in charge of reformist projects will be formed. Over the months will rise a global vox populi promoting the values ​​of democracy – peace, human dignity, social progress, responsible freedom, cooperation – on those brutal, greedy and inconsistent that drive today the politics, the world economy and the media.
More powerful than the WTO, the globalization of the forces of progress will  orientate economy, finance, science and technologies to the service of peace, human development, social progress and strategic protection of the planet.
The immense challenge of this new century is to end the current global “ecocide” and reintegrate into a dignified life billions people who no longer find jobs in an automated global economy requiring every year less human work.
